BATTLE OF THE CREWS 2011

Last Saturday, 11 June 2011, The Cathay presents, Blank Canvas 3 - Battle of the crews. An annual graffiti competition. Last year they held a graffiti battle where graffiti writers head on one on one, but this year, they're bringing in the big guns, as crew versus crew at the Cathay's courtyard opposite Dhoby Ghaut MRT station. Crews from around the island merge and gave their life for this epic battle for the grand prize, crews like Titan Aerosol Creation and ArrowSoul Warriors were one of them. And RSCLS (ANTZ, ZERO and CLOGTWO) were there to showcase and judge as the crews unleash the beast.

TERROR IN CATHAY - COMING SOON

An artwork inspired by the early 80's movie poster, which are usually hand painted on massive canvases or plywoods to promote the film. RSCLS decided to go for that treatment as to celebrate the artistic and painstaking skills these people uphold to earn a living. To the pioneers of graphic designers, we salute you.

First up we have LibreNewoneLocase (LNL) who emerge as Champions. Second goes to: The Kotels, consist of S13, Asno and Dopes. And third place was taken by SBC, which crew members are, Stranger, Blynk and Beat.

Other crews who joined: Titan Aerosol Creations (Syco, Bony and Ebat), ArrowSoul Warriors (Klaxon, Newa and Raze) and Artkhalytis (Ceno and Rotka).
